Stanisonne Art Gallery is pleased to present you the curated group exhibition ‘Abstract & Surrealistic Worlds’.

We invited talented artist from all around the world to explore and extend the definition of art beyond the limits of reality and to share their abstract and surrealistic perceptions of the worlds and we selected a wide variety of different artistic expressions.

Abstrakte und surrealistische Kunst haben beide eine gemeinsame Philosophie, die die Grenzen der Realität verschiebt, die traditionellen Darstellungen in der Kunst herausfordert und die Fähigkeit hat, über die typischen Grenzen hinauszugehen. Eintauchen in ein tieferes, oft unberührtes Reich von Gedanken und Emotionen, in das Unterbewusstsein, und Kunst schaffen, die zu den verborgenen Dimensionen des Geistes spricht.

Abstract art is liberating the artist from accurate images of the material world and gives them the opportunity to be flexible in expressing their feelings, ideas and concepts. This allows both the artist and the observer to explore deeper, personal and emotional interpretations.

Whereas, surrealism depicts the shared philosophy, often using realistic forms and shapes, but in a very unexpected combination, challenging the laws of reality and physics. It encourages artists to explore dreamlike worlds and question the very nature of reality itself and gives the observer a space for imagination to flourish.
